SWANLETS
We all have skills and talents that we enjoy using. SWANLETS is a way of sharing those skills and talents with others who then share theirs with you. You get to do more of what you love doing, and less of what you don’t.
For example:
Alice loves doing housework but is hopeless at decorating. Brian is great at decorating but hates gardening. Carol is keen on gardening but needs someone to set up an email account on her computer. David is good at computer skills but needs help with his housework.
Alice, Brian, Carol and David earn and spend credits, called SWANS, for the work they do for each other, and a SWANLETS co-ordinator keeps a record of everyone’s account. But above all, SWANLETS is about having fun and meeting people.
SWANLETS members find each other through a directory in which each member lists their offers and wants.
